Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using ThaiClick ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

ThaiClick is a Chrome browser extension that helps users learn Thai by:

• Providing Thai-English dictionary lookups on any webpage
• Offering spaced repetition flashcard reviews
• Playing audio pronunciations
• Syncing vocabulary data across devices (optional, requires account)

3. User Accounts

ThaiClick can be used without creating an account. However, certain features require signing in with Google:

• Cloud sync of vocabulary across devices
• Premium subscription features

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Free and Premium Tiers

Free Tier

The free tier includes:

• Full dictionary access (40,000+ words)
• Audio pronunciation
• Up to 50 vocabulary words
• Up to 10 flashcard reviews per day

Premium Tier

The Premium subscription includes:

• All free tier features
• Unlimited vocabulary storage
• Unlimited daily reviews
• Cloud sync across devices

5. Payment and Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed through Stripe:

• Monthly: ฿119 THB per month
• Yearly: ฿1,099 THB per year

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal accessible from the Extension settings. Upon cancellation:

• You retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period
• Your account reverts to the Free tier after the period ends
• Your vocabulary data is preserved (subject to Free tier limits)

Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new Premium subscriptions:

• Request a refund within 7 days of your first payment
• Contact support@thaiclick.app with your request
• Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days

Refunds are not available for renewal payments or after the 7-day period.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
• Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Redistribute or resell the Extension or its content
• Use automated tools to abuse the service

8. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including its code, design, and content, is owned by ThaiClick and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

The dictionary data is sourced from:

• LEXiTRON: Licensed from NECTEC (Thailand)
• Wiktionary: Available under Creative Commons licenses

Your vocabulary data remains your property. We claim no ownership over words you save or content you create.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Extension is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Dictionary definitions are 100% accurate
• The Extension will meet all your learning needs

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThaiClick shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Extension.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Premium subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through:

• Update to the "Last Updated" date above
• Notification in the Extension (for significant changes)

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Extension if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Thailand.
